The traditional "Honey Harvest" exhibition was held before the Chirpan Municipality today, emphasizing for the fourth year the labor and efforts of beekeepers from the region. This was stated by Chirpan Mayor Ivaylo Kracholov at the opening of the event. The regional "Honey Harvest" exhibition is held on the occasion of February 10th - the Day of St. Haralampiy the Wonderworker, the patron saint of honey. The idea for its holding was born in 2014, at the initiative of the chairman of the "Yavorov" Foundation Todor Ivanov and the "Peyo Yavorov" House-Museum, since the date coincides with the poet's name day. It was from the "Yavorov" House-Museum that they discovered a curious text in the newspaper "Good Beekeeper," according to which, if Laura and Yavorov had been beekeepers, they would not have reached their dramatic ending - a message that symbolically calls for harmony with nature and inspires the organization of the first edition of the exhibition.
