REPUBLICA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government is promoting exports of crude palm oil (CPO), cocoa, and coffee to New Zealand. This statement was made by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Andi Amran Sulaiman, during a visit from the New Zealand Minister of Trade, Agriculture, Investment, and Forestry, Todd McClay, at the Ministry of Agriculture office in Jakarta, Thursday (7/8/2025). According to Amran, this step is one of the strategies to balance the trade balance of the Republic of Indonesia with New Zealand. “We ask for a win-win situation, so that our trade with New Zealand can be balanced,” said the figure from South Sulawesi.
