REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SIDOARJO -- The national government rice reserves (CBP) currently stand at 4.9 million tons. East Java is one of the largest contributors with a stock of around 1.2 million tons. In the Bulog warehouse in Sidoarjo, the storage capacity is visibly full to the point of needing additional rented warehouses. The day before, President Prabowo Subianto conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) of the Bulog warehouse in Magelang, Central Java, to directly verify the availability of national rice stocks. This step was taken to ensure the real conditions on the ground. During the President's review, the team directly saw the warehouse with a capacity of 7,000 tons that was filled to the brim. This finding reinforced the government's confidence that the national rice stock is in a safe condition. This achievement is supported by significantly increased production performance. National rice production in 2025 is recorded to have increased by 4.07 million tons or 13.29 percent. ...
