Mersin, on the path to becoming a leading city in the food industry

President of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO) Hakan Sefa Çakır stated that Mersin has strong potential in the food industry, saying, "We are in a leading position in many areas, especially legumes and citrus fruits. The presence of agroparks and food specialization Free Trade Zones in our city shows our potential to create added value in the food industry."
