Argentina's Sanitation and Agro-Food Quality Service (Senasa) has received authorization to export beef from 22 slaughterhouses to Mexico, following eight years of negotiations. This could also potentially include other valuable beef cuts, similar to those sold in the European market. Vice President of Senasa, Rodrigo Acerbi, highlighted the potential opportunity this presents for Argentina. Juan José Bahillo, the Secretary of Agriculture, praised the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senasa, aligning it with the government's strategy to expand food exports and markets. Now, Senasa will work with Mexico's National Health, Safety and Agro-Food Quality Service (Senasica) to establish the animal health requirements for the export certificates.
