Midagri and SIPPO launch strategic guide to position Peruvian cocoa and coffee in Switzerland

(Agraria.pe) Within the framework of the International Specialty Coffee Fair (FICAFE) 2024, which took place from November 7 to 10 in Tingo María (Huánuco), the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through Agromercado, and the Swiss Import Promotion Program (SIPPO), implemented by Swisscontact, presented the EFTA Internationalization Guide - Coffee and Cocoa, a key resource that provides practical guidance on how to enter and compete in the Swiss market. The objective is to provide Peruvian producers, cooperatives and associations with a strategic roadmap that allows them to take advantage of the Free Trade Agreement with the countries of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) - Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein - which are open and highly competitive economies, characterized by their financial stability and high purchasing power.
