The regime implemented by Decree 514/2021 aims to "promote registered work and the expansion of social security benefits for rural workers who provide services in temporary and seasonal activities, as well as their family groups." Basically, it stipulates that if a person goes to work in the harvest or any other temporary activity in the rural environment, their social plan benefits do not immediately cease, as was the case before. That is why it is called "compatibility." If that opportunity did not exist, many people would refuse to be hired formally to work in agriculture. Harvest activities lack sufficient labor (or they hire it informally, exposing themselves to fines), fruits are not harvested, etc. And the most humble people lose the chance to obtain an additional income, at least for a couple of months.
