Spain: Milk for PDO Manchego Cheese, at its highest prices

The Lonja de Albacete, considered a reference by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, has verified in its last session a price of 9.33 euros per hectograde, that is, 15.52 pesetas per degree of cheese extract (sum of fat and protein extracts). This amount represents a notable increase from 9.03 euros per hectograde (15.02 pesetas per degree of cheese extract), which was the average figure that was in this specific product of sheep's milk, since last October 2020.
