In 2024, the Tver Region's agricultural sector saw significant growth, with milk production rising by over 16% to 174 thousand tons and a 3.2% increase in dairy herds. The region maintained its grain and leguminous crop area at over 71 thousand hectares, achieving a gross harvest of 168.8 thousand tons. Industrial crops, particularly rapeseed, expanded, with a harvest increase to 12.4 thousand tons. Vegetable crops covered more than 1.7 thousand hectares, yielding 35.5 thousand tons, and potato production reached 326.6 thousand tons. Flax-fiber was sown on 2,327 hectares, producing 2,200 tons. State support for the agro-industrial complex exceeded 1.7 billion rubles, aiding stable operations and growth in both crop and livestock production.
