The Volgograd region saw a 1.2% increase in cattle and over 2% increase in milk production between January and November 2022, compared to the same period in 2021. The region produced 558.4 thousand tons of milk and experienced an increase of 4.2 thousand heads in cattle, with agricultural organizations showing the largest growth. The Regional Committee for Agriculture credits state support, with a projected volume of over 878 million rubles by the end of 2022, for the development of animal husbandry in the region.
