The European Commission has reported a minor 0.5% increase in cow's milk deliveries to industries in the EU-27 for the first half of the year, with variations across member states. While France and Germany experienced slight decreases, countries like Hungary, Greece, Latvia, and Italy saw increases. Despite this stability in milk deliveries, there has been a decline in the production of key dairy products such as skimmed milk powder, butter, liquid milk, and milk powder. Conversely, cheese, cream, and concentrated milk production has increased. The average price of cow's milk in the EU remained stable in June, but there has been an increase in the prices of skimmed milk powder, butter, and whole milk powder in August. Additionally, the number of farmers with cow's milk declarations in Spain has continued to decrease, with 11,800 in June, down from 12,079 in January.
