Karachay-Cherkessia saw a 3.3% increase in agricultural production in the first nine months of 2024, totaling 31.1 billion rubles, as reported by the North Caucasus Statistics Office. This increase was led by a 2.8% rise in meat production, a 0.5% increase in milk production, and a 0.4% increase in egg production. There was a notable change in the livestock population, with a 2.7-fold increase in poultry but a decrease in other livestock: cows by 0.7%, sheep and goats by 1.6%, and pigs by 7%.
