Dairy farms have seen a 1.5% increase in milk supply in February compared to January, reaching 1.14 million tonnes, the highest since 2020. Fat production also surged by 5.9% to 50,984 tonnes, due to a higher fat percentage in milk this year. However, the production of condensed milk, consumer milk products, butter, and whole milk powder saw a decrease, while skimmed milk powder production rose by 16.5%. Cheese production also increased by 2.4% in January compared to the previous year.
