The award was announced this Wednesday (15), during an event in Cyprus, consecrating Vinícola Essenza with the "Best Of Brazil" title and positioning it among the 10 best global producers, behind only Spanish brands. In addition to the main recognition, Vinícola Essenza won four Gran Prestige Gold medals for the Mantikir Coratina, Grappolo, Koroneiki, and Summit Premium olive oils — all evaluated with over 86 points. In total, this year's edition brought together 556 olive oils from 19 countries, and Brazil secured 38 medals. According to producer Herbert Sales, this is the first time a Brazilian has reached the Top 3 of the competition.
