The Minister of Agriculture in Indonesia has released 96 tons of shallot exports to Thailand, with a total export contract value of 75 containers or approximately Rp. 73.5 billion. The Minister expressed gratitude for Indonesia's ability to produce various commodities, including shallots, despite facing extreme weather conditions. The Director General of Horticulture stated that Indonesia has been able to meet both domestic and export needs for shallots, resulting in a surplus and eliminating the need for imports.
