Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao: Support Chinese enterprises to import superior products from Indonesia and welcome Indonesian side to continue to participate in the 4th CIIE

On the morning of April 8, Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce, and Indonesian Minister of Trade Ruthfi held a video conference to exchange views on further deepening China-Indonesia economic and trade relations and reached broad consensus. Wang Wentao said that China attaches great importance to economic and trade relations with Indonesia. Since 2020, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Joko Widodo, China’s trade and investment cooperation with Indonesia has gone against the trend and achieved gratifying results. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It is also the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for China’s economic and social development.
