REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono stated that Indonesia's plan to export 2,000 tons of rice per month to Malaysia will not affect domestic rice stocks. According to him, this is because rice supplies at Bulog are still sufficient.

He explained that rice exports to Malaysia will come from stocks stored by Perum Bulog, which has an absorption rate of up to 20,000 tons per day.
