Armenia is looking to enhance agricultural ties with Kazakhstan, with a focus on grain supplies and seed production. Armenia is particularly interested in Kazakhstan's wheat due to its high gluten content. The two countries are also planning to collaborate on phytosanitary safety and veterinary medicine. Despite a slight increase in agricultural trade in 2023, Kazakhstan believes there is potential for greater trade, especially in meat and sunflower oil exports. Additionally, Armenia is seeking to increase imports of fresh fruits, early vegetables, nuts, confectionery, chocolate, and dairy products from Kazakhstan.
