The agrometeorological conditions in October on most sown areas in Ukraine were generally satisfactory for the initial development of winter crops, reports the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. "The rains recorded throughout the country during the month contributed to replenishing the soil moisture reserves. By October 31, the reserves of productive soil moisture on most areas were sufficient to optimal.
