Mongolia is planning to import 9,000 heads of cattle from Belarus to develop their livestock breeding, including 5,000 heads of dairy and 4,000 heads of beef cattle. This is in accordance with an interstate export credit agreement, as the main task is to increase the supply of meat, milk, and related products to the domestic market. The country is also looking to increase sales of food products abroad. However, the country has faced challenges such as frost, heavy snowfalls, drought, and sandstorms which have resulted in the death of 2.4 million heads of livestock in the first half of this year.
