The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan has ratified the Interim Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Mongolia, reports Agrosektor.kz. The document forms the legal basis for the liberalization of trade, the removal of technical barriers, and the expansion of economic interaction between the parties. The agreement is concluded for a period of three years with the possibility of subsequent extension. Under the terms of the agreement, there is a reduction or elimination of import customs duties on a wide range of goods. This includes grain, poultry meat, dairy products, vegetable oils, confectionery, as well as metallurgical and chemical products, vehicles, and several other categories.
