Moody's affirmed this Friday, the 19th, the long-term and short-term local and foreign currency deposit ratings of Banco do Brasil at and , respectively, following the affirmation of the bank's Base Credit Assessment (BCA) and Adjusted BCA at and , respectively. The agency also affirmed the long-term and short-term local and foreign currency Counterparty Risk ratings of the bank at and , respectively, and the long-term and short-term Counterparty Risk Assessments (CRA) at and , respectively. The outlook on the long-term bank deposit ratings remains stable. By affirming the BCA of BB at , Moody's says it recognizes its well-established franchise as the second largest bank by total assets in the country in June 2025.
