During the year 2026, the livestock project executed by the Economic and Social Development Management of the District Municipality of San Antonio (Moquegua) projects to increase the economic income of pig farmers, as a result of the strengthening of production and commercialization. While in 2025 the monthly income was approximately S/7200 with the sale of 40 piglets, for this year it is estimated to exceed S/9000 monthly through the commercialization of 50 to 60 piglets. With that objective, the project named “Improvement of the productive support services of the cattle, pig, and guinea pig production chains” restarted its activities.
