More than 70% of grain was harvested in Kyrgyzstan; yields are significantly higher than last year

The pace of grain harvesting in Kyrgyzstan and the gross harvest this year exceed last year's. This was reported by the Ministry of Water and Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to operational data from representatives of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the regions, as of August 20, 351.2 thousand hectares of grain crops (wheat and barley) have been harvested, or 71.5% of the harvested area. This is 71.2 thousand hectares more than last year. Including 186.4 thousand hectares of wheat (77.5%) have been threshed, which is 42.1 thousand hectares more than last year, barley 164.8 thousand hectares (65.7%) - 29.1 thousand hectares more than last year.
