Morocco's tomato and courgette exports to the EU are behind their quota for the 2021/22 campaign as of the first week of February. Tomato exports are 4% lower than the previous year at 128,889 tons, making up only 42% of the total export quota of 285,000 tons. Courgette exports, on the other hand, have seen an 11% increase from the previous campaign, reaching 22,431 tons, or 43% of the total quota. The average entry price for both tomatoes and courgettes in the EU has increased. In Andalusia, the supply of autumn crops has slightly increased due to increased night temperatures and solar radiation, but production is still lower than the previous season.
