Much better hazelnut harvest expected in Georgia in 2023

The head of the Georgian Hazelnut Growers Association (GHGA) predicts a much better hazelnut harvest for 2023 compared to last year, but subject to active hazelnut growers, EastFruit reports. “We have very high expectations for the upcoming season. According to the conclusions of our agronomists, the hazelnut orchards endured the winter very well, in almost all regions there was a good flowering stage, positive development continues, and in 2023, based on natural conditions, we expect a much better hazelnut harvest,” said the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Association of Producers Georgian hazelnut (GHGA) Merab Chitanava.
