Spain: Murcia reaches record figures for fruit and vegetable exports in the first five months of the year

The Region of Murcia has achieved record export figures in the fruit and vegetable sector in the first five months of the year, according to data from the historical series. In this sense, regional companies have exported fruits and vegetables worth 1,641 million euros, which consolidates the Region as the second most exporting province in Spain. The Minister of Business, Employment and Social Economy, Marisa López, highlighted the importance of these data, which reflect "the effort that companies in the sector are making to maintain leadership positions, making the quality of the products and the use of technology the levers to strengthen its competitive capacity in markets as relevant and demanding as the Asian one.
