Myanmar has successfully exported nearly 1.7 million tons of corn over nine months from September of the previous year to May of this year, with a significant portion of the shipment going to Thailand and China. The country aims to double its corn exports to over 2 million tons in the 2023-24 fiscal year, leveraging its annual corn production of 3.2 million tons across 2 million acres. The cultivation of corn in Myanmar is diversified across rainy and winter seasons, making it a significant agricultural power in the region.
