Naju City is operating an emergency response system centered on the field and making all-out efforts to provide multi-faceted support to prevent livestock mortality amid ongoing heat waves. On the 7th, Naju City visited two poultry farms (one broiler, one duck) in Seji-myeon, directly inspecting the ventilation and air conditioning facility operations inside the livestock facilities and listening to damage status and difficulties faced by livestock farmers. Mayor Yun Byung-tae, who visited the site that day, stated, "In preparation for the continuing heat wave, thoroughly check whether cooling equipment such as exhaust fans, mist sprayers, and insulation materials are operating normally" and "reduce agricultural damage from livestock mortality."
