New Ecuadorian producers send 21,500 kilos of Hass avocado to Europe

Ecuador exported 21,500 kilos of Hass avocado to Europe. The shipment was made on March 14 from Puerto Contecon, in Guayaquil, and is destined for the Port of Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, where it will be sold in the markets of the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. The shipment was made by small associated producers from the areas of Cuellaje, Cotacachi and Atuntaqui, in the province of Imbabura. The producers belong to the Federation of Fruit Growers of Northern Ecuador (FEDEFRUNOR), which brings together 20 organizations, with approximately 1,400 members from the provinces of Imbabura and Carchi, who, through a strategic alliance with the company Interanza, market avocado. Subsequently, they will send mango, blackberry, tree tomato, granadilla, uvilla and other fruits.
