The acts of appointment for the new heads of four organizational units subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) were handed over by the head of the ministry, Stefan Krajewski. The changes concern the Chief Inspectorate for Plant Health and Seed, the Chief Inspectorate for the Marketing Quality of Agricultural and Food Products, the Chief Inspectorate for Veterinary Medicine, and the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund. "At my suggestion, Prime Minister Donald Tusk dismissed the heads of four institutions: KRUS, IJHARS, PIOR i N, and GIW. The newly appointed individuals come from these institutions, work for the protection of Polish agriculture, and for maintaining the highest quality of agricultural and food products. They are people with extensive experience and subject matter expertise," emphasized Minister Krajewski, as quoted in the MARD statement.
