Argentina's National Service of Sanitation and Agro-Food Quality (Senasa) has confirmed three new cases of avian influenza (AI) H5 in domestic birds in the province of Córdoba, bringing the total to eight across different provinces. In response, Senasa is implementing controls and preventive measures, including urging the productive sector to enhance hygiene and biosecurity in poultry farms. The public is encouraged to report any symptoms in birds or dead birds to Senasa. Additionally, authorities are conducting surveys and controls around the Mar Chiquita lagoon and Pozuelos lagoon, following the detection of the disease in wild birds.
