The regional investment commission approved two new residents of the special economic zone "Uzlovaya" in the Tula region, the regional government press service reported. In particular, "EFKO-Shokolad" plans to build a factory for the production of chocolate and confectionery glazes. The investment volume will be 8.7 billion rubles, and 80 new jobs will be created. In addition, a sunflower processing plant will be established in the special economic zone. It is planned to be built by the Tula Oil Extraction Plant. The project involves investments of 10 billion rubles and the creation of 480 new jobs. As reported, an agreement with JSC "EFKO Management Company" was concluded at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2024.
