New winter evaluation of blonde croaker in the Río de la Plata area and the Argentine-Uruguayan Common Fishing Zone

This Wednesday, July 24, the National Institute of Fisheries Research and Development (INIDEP) began a new winter evaluation campaign for blonde croaker (Micropogonias furnieri) in the Río de la Plata area and the Argentine-Uruguayan Common Fishing Zone (ZCPAU) , aboard the Oceanographic Fisheries Research Vessel (BIPO) Mar Argentino. Rita Rico as scientific leader, over 14 days, researchers and technicians will estimate densities and determine the population structure of the blonde croaker in the area under the jurisdiction of the Administrative Commission of the Río de la Plata (CARP) and the Joint Technical Commission of the Maritime Front (CTMFM), including the territorial seas of Argentina and Uruguay.
