(Hwaseong=Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Kwang-ho = Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 29th that the "11th Hwaseong Song-san Grape Festival" will be held from June 6-7 at Gung-pyeong Port in Seosin-myeon.
The festival will feature various experiential programs such as grape stomping, grape variety matching, and grape sugar content measurement, along with celebratory performances and street performances by local artists.
There will also be a corner selling local specialties, a winery zone with participation from local winery businesses, a food zone, and a water playground.
In conjunction with the festival, a grape promotion event will also be held at Dongtan Lake Park.
Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun said, "The Hwaseong Song-san Grape Festival is a special festival that combines taste and art created together by farmers and artists," and added, "This year, in line with the festival's theme 'Tasty Songsan,' it will be a festival that offers sweet taste, rich fun, and diverse emotions."
