Ningxia Zhongwei, the primary producer and exporter of Chinese wolfberries, saw a significant increase in wolfberry export value in the first half of 2021, reaching 38 million yuan, which is two-fifths of Ningxia's total wolfberry export value. The main export countries include the Netherlands, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Taiwan. The industry has faced challenges due to the epidemic, but with the development of deep-processed products and online sales, it has successfully reversed the export decline. Customs in Ningxia have been optimizing supervision models to facilitate exports and shorten customs clearance times. The region has 16 companies exporting wolfberry to 23 countries and regions, and the industry is becoming a favorite in countries such as the United States, ASEAN, and Taiwan.
