Nonsan City is supplying 320,000 superior strawberry seedlings to local farmers to improve the quality of strawberries, reduce diseases and pests, and increase productivity. The Nonsan Agricultural Technology Center (Director Kim Jeong-pil) announced that it will accept applications for the distribution of strawberry tissue-cultured seedlings to strawberry-growing farmers in the area from October 20 to 31. The varieties being distributed this time include 210,000 units of Nonsan's representative variety 'Sulhyang', as well as new varieties 'Kingsberry' and 'Vitaberry' bred by the Nonsan Strawberry Research Institute, totaling 320,000 units. The distribution price is 500 won per unit. 'Sulhyang' can be applied for by farm owners who have completed agricultural business entity registration and have Nonsan as their registered address.
