The Chungbuk Inland Water Industry Research Institute announced that on the 13th, it released 6,000 young eels, which are the most popular fish species in terms of taste and value, into Daecheongho near Geogyori, Honam-myeon, Boeun-gun. The released eels were hatched in the deep Pacific Ocean, captured (around 5cm) when ascending rivers, purchased by the research institute, and raised to over 10cm after 39 days of cultivation. They are healthy young eels that have undergone aquatic animal disease and genetic testing.
