In the week of 2024, the average price of Norwegian salmon fell to NOK 119.65 per kilogram, a decrease from the previous week's price. Despite this, the price has seen a gradual increase of 1.44 percent over the past month and 4.7 percent over the past year. The Norwegian Salmon Council reported that Norway exported 12,602 metric tons of salmon, with the majority being shipped to European countries. The import figures for Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Italy, and the U.K. have increased, while imports to China and the U.S. have decreased compared to the previous week.
