Morocco: Octopus fishing fleets benefit from an additional quota

Based on Ministerial Decision No. 01/24 issued on February 21, the total quota of octopus was raised from 21,000 tons, which was previously decided in the ministerial decision issued on December 28, to 25,200 tons now, an increase of up to 4,200 tons. This additional share is distributed among the three marine fishing fleets, as 2,646 tons were allocated to the high seas fishing fleet, while 1,092 tons were allocated to the traditional fishing fleet, and 462 tons were allocated to the coastal fishing fleet.
