In 2022, Chile's fruit exports reached a volume of 3.44 million tons, valued at USD 7,439.6 million, showing a slight increase in volume but a decrease in value compared to the previous year. The exports consisted of 68.4% fresh fruit, 22.9% processed fruit, and 8.7% dried fruits. While fresh fruit exports saw a decrease in both volume and value, the most notable increases were seen in cherry and table grape exports. Nuts were the third-largest category in value, followed by processed fruits, which experienced an increase in both volume and value. The most significant increases were seen in dehydrated and preserved fruits, with peach and apple preserves being the top sellers.
