The Omsk region in Russia is planning to increase its agricultural exports by 20-25% in 2020 compared to the planned indicators, according to Nikolai Drofa, the head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture. The region expects to reach a total export value of $200 million by the end of the year, with support from federal and regional initiatives like preferential railway tariffs and transportation subsidies. The region exports its products to over 45 countries, with Kazakhstan, Belarus, Latvia, and China being the main importers. The main exports include oilseeds, grains, legumes, and processed products like seed oil and dairy items.
