According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "Agricultural Products Wholesale Price 200 Index" on February 5 was 129.83, down 0.13 points from yesterday, and the "grocery basket" product wholesale price index was 132.71, down 0.16 points from yesterday. As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural products wholesale markets was 18.48 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday; beef was 66.41 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday; mutton was 64.47 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday; eggs were 8.55 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from yesterday; and white-striped chicken was 17.23 yuan/kg, down 1.5% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.50 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.92 yuan/kg, up 1.4% from yesterday. Carp was 19.37 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday; crucian carp was 14.33 yuan/kg, up 1.1% from yesterday; silver carp was 9.99 yuan/kg, down 6.5% from yesterday; and large ribbon fish was 43.04 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products wholesale markets in the country that were closely monitored, the top five varieties with price increases compared to yesterday were scallions, Kyoho grapes, watermelons, pumpkins, and bananas, with increases of 5.9%, 4.7%, 3.1%, 1.4%, and 1.2%, respectively; the top five varieties with price decreases were silver carp, Chinese cabbage, spinach, grass carp, and Asian pears, with decreases of 6.5%, 3.5%, 2.8%, 2.1%, and 1.9%, respectively.
