One of the largest pig slaughterhouses in Europe opens its doors in Zafra, Spain

One of the largest pig slaughterhouses in Europe, with a capacity to slaughter more than 900 pigs a day, will be inaugurated this Thursday in Zafra (Badajoz), a project in which merchants from the Spanish manufacturing industry participate. The inauguration ceremony of the Complejo del Ibérico de Extremadura (Cibex) S.L. will be attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, and the President of the Junta de Extremadura, Guillermo Fernández Vara, among other authorities. Likewise, directors and representatives of the partner companies of this slaughterhouse will also be present, including Argal, Campofrío, Señorío de Montanera, Montesano, GAM Family, Grupo Costa and Ibercom Cooperativa, among others.
