The past week saw a surge in carrot sales, making it the sales leader, with an increased supply of potatoes, greens, and apples. However, there was a decrease in sellers of white and Chinese cabbage. Prices for onions and tomatoes in Ukraine, and cucumbers in Uzbekistan, began to rise, while prices for Egyptian fruits and vegetables remained stable. The EastFruit Trade Platform saw a 6% increase in advertisements, mainly from Ukraine, Iran, Egypt, and Turkmenistan. Meanwhile, the price of green onions and dill increased, while salad, apples, and pears decreased. Egypt doubled its exports of fruits and vegetables to Brazil in 2023, and prices for cabbage, onion, and tomato from Turkmenistan were also provided.
