The Brazilian government and the South African government have concluded phytosanitary negotiations for Brazil to export canola seeds to that country. With over 63 million inhabitants, South Africa imported approximately USD 635 million in agricultural products from Brazil in 2024, with emphasis on meats, sugar, cereals, and coffee.
