The Brazilian government is pleased with the news that Bolivia has opened its market to the export of fertile turkey eggs from Brazil, and Bolivian health authorities have accepted the Brazilian proposal for an international health certificate. In 2023, Brazil exported US$389 million in agricultural products to Bolivia, surpassing the amount exported in 2022, and also managed to open 76 new markets in 38 countries for agribusiness products. These achievements are credited to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
