In October 2022, the Oryol and Kursk regions of Russia controlled 101.5 thousand tons of grain and processed products intended for export, with 40.6 thousand tons and 60.9 thousand tons exported from the Oryol and Kursk regions respectively. The majority of these exports were sent to Latvia (65%) and Belarus (21%), with processed products also exported to Belarus, Latvia, Armenia, and China. The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration issued 2,659 phytosanitary certificates within the required legal deadlines. However, due to the detection of quarantine weeds in certain batches, shipments to Mongolia and Serbia were prohibited and 327 refusals to issue phytosanitary certificates were issued. Overall, 592.7 thousand tons of grain and processed products intended for export had been controlled over the first 10 months of 2022.
