Over 2 million tons of grain were handled in Kazakhstan in 2 months of autumn

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, in September-October 2024, the volume of grain movement on the domestic market and for export reached good indicators. More than 2.2 million tons of grain were handled, which is 40% higher than the same period last year. Barley exports are developing particularly dynamically, reaching 150 thousand tons to the Iranian market alone. After the completion of the harvesting campaign and clarification of the final harvest volumes, the grain market is showing a noticeable revival. Promotion of Kazakhstani agricultural products in international markets is one of the priority tasks of JSC NC Food Corporation.
