The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Amur Region monitored the export of over 446 thousand tons of grain and its processing products in 2020, with the majority being soybeans and soybean meal. China was the main buyer, followed by Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, and Kazakhstan. The region also exported wheat, corn, barley, and oats to China and Mongolia. The administration received over 1,600 applications for phytosanitary certificates, but 62 were refused due to non-compliance with procedures and import requirements. The control of grain quality, safety, and integrity for export led to the termination of 26 declarations of conformity for export grain due to non-compliance with EAEU technical regulations and other requirements.
